Glorious Scotland Scenic Tour From Glasgow Area
This tour is mainly a scenic drive with a chance to explore one little town but with a lot of short picture and comfort stops. It is a tour that captures the real beauty of Scotland. We will have the chance to visit and explore castles, jails and some lovely little villages all from the comfort of our luxury minibus. Our hot drink provision and fully equipped bus will provide a comfortable journey as we discover what makes Scotland such an attractive tourist destination. From our stunning lochs and majestic landscapes to our ancient and historical buildings with their mysterious pasts there is an adventure that is suitable for all ages and mobility levels.
Castle & Cake
Heading north up the picturesque Loch Long and Loch Goil passing the 14th Century Carrick Castle before arriving at the gorgeous Boatshed Café, where you can enjoy a delicious lunch. If you are lucky, you might even get a visit from a pine marten or some red squirrels.

Cairngorms; Highest Mountains, Bonnie Lochs & Ancient Forests
We'll head south from Inverness over The Slochd Summit from where we see our first view of The Cairngorm Mountains. We continue on to the Highland Folk Museum, Newtonmore where you can discover the history and heritage of The Scottish Highlands.
From here we will enjoy a lovely tour along the quieter back roads of Badenoch & Strathspey. We'll visit Ruthven Barracks before passing through Rothiemurchus and Loch Morlich. Our journey then takes us up to Cairngorm ski area and UK’s highest mountain railway. Experience Cairngorm Mountain and enjoy wonderful panoramic views from UK’s highest restaurant, over 1000 metres up. Back down in Strathspey we can go looking for red squirrels and perhaps Ospreys amid our indigenous Caledonian Pine Forest by Loch Garten and Nethy Bridge. Our tour takes us on to Grantown-on-Spey and, if time allows, we can enjoy an envigorating dram or two on our way home at either Tomatin or the new Cairn Distillery.
Kirkwall Walking Tour
Kirkwall is the capital of the Orkney Islands in Scotland and a hub for its rich history, marked by key historical sites, including Saint Magnus Cathedral, the Bishop's Palace, and the Earls' Palace.
Saint Magnus Cathedral is a striking example of medieval architecture, built in the 12th century.
Located adjacent to Saint Magnus Cathedral, the Bishop's Palace is a significant historical building from the 12th century, originally the residence of the Bishop of Orkney. It was once a grand residence but now remains in ruins, with remnants of the stone structure, including walls, doorways, and arches, still visible.
The Earls' Palace, also located in Kirkwall, was built in the early 17th century by Earl Patrick Stewart. This impressive Renaissance-style building once served as the residence of the Earl of Orkney and was known for its grand design.
These landmarks collectively highlight Kirkwall's historical importance and the island's rich Norse and Scottish heritage.
