English Speaking Homestay Exploring Edinburgh and National Parks
Join our English Speaking courses to see some of the most beautiful places in Scotland. You will stay with our teachers in a private house in a green area just outside Edinburgh. You will be in small international group (max 7 people) which will give you a chance to practice your English for the whole course.
Each day we will have breakfast at home then go out to discover wonderful nature spots, historical cities and local culture. We always take lunch out with us so it can be enjoyed with great views and fresh air. In the evenings we'll make a home cooked meal and then play some fun games.
As well as all the places listed on our itinerary we have many more exciting surprises, treats and small trips.
We recommend a minimum level of B1 English to get the most out of this course. Our native speakers will always be there to help you throughout the course. The course is also flexible so you're welcome to enjoy some free time or suggest places you would love to visit.

Edinburgh: Arthur's Seat Hike with Local Guide
On this tour up to Arthur's Seat, your friendly, knowledgeable and professional guide will lead you through Holyrood Park and talk you through the very distinctive natural, historical and geological sites you encounter on the way up. Holyrood Park is home to an extinct volcano, medieval religious sites, 3 lochs ("lakes") and a former hill fort. Following your climb up (and many photographs at the top) you'll be guided back down to Edinnburgh, finishing where the tour started.

Ben Nevis Guided walks
Your Guide will accompany you up and down the Ben Nevis Mountain path. They are there to provide you with advice and information about the path and the history, and the nature of Ben Nevis.
Your Guide will know the mountain well and will be fully qualified and insured for the activity that they are leading.
You will need to be properly equipped for your day and for all possible weather. You should have the following kit.
- Comfortable walking boots, preferably waterproof, that provide ankle support.
- Waterproof jacket and trousers.
- Socks.
- Baselayers are to be worn next to the skin. (not cotton)
- Comfortable walking trousers. (not jeans)
- Warm mid-layers. At least two, one to wear and one as an emergency layer.
- Hats and gloves.
- Head torch
- A small personal first aid kit. Plasters etc.
- A flask and/or drinks bottle, 1L should be enough.
- A rucksack. Anything larger than a 30L pack will do, and a waterproof liner
- An orange emergency survival bag.
