From Glasgow: Scottish Highlands and Loch Ness Day Tour

Group Walk up Ben Nevis from Fort William
Group walks up Ben Nevis every Wednesday and Sunday from the start of May to the end of September. Your chance to join a group and together with your guide, climb to the summit at 1344 metres (4411 feet). Based in Fort William and only using local guides, you won't just climb Ben Nevis, you'll learn all about the mountain and the wildlife, geology and history it has to offer. The pub at the end of the path is a great place to finish the day with a well earned pint!
Please note that for walks in early May winter boots, crampons and walking axes may be required if there is still snow on the mountain. This kit can be hired at an additional cost from Scottish Mountain Hire in Fort William and we will advise guests as early as possible if it will be required.
For all of the walks under 18 year olds MUST be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

This is an excellent way to see some of what Orkney has to offer in a single day. Hop on the ferry in Scrabster that departs at 8.45am, visit Orkney and return in the same day. (Please note ferry fares are not included. Ferry fares are £22.65 each way for an adult, £20.39 each way for 60+, please see Northlink Ferries website for more information.)
Take in Orkney's beautiful scenery and visit some fantastic sites, that includes standing stones, a Neolithic village and dramatic cliff's.
The Orkney Travel Day Trip departs from Stromness Travel Centre where the Northlink Ferry arrives from Scrabster. The tour returns to Stromness Travel Centre at 4pm in plenty of time for the 4.45pm ferry back to Scrabster.

Avoid the hustle and bustle of a larger coach group and tour round the highlands in my 16 seat minibus.
We try to get the most out of your day out so departure times will vary depending on your ships arrival. We will be standing across the road from port security gates at 8.30 for a sharp departure and return around 3.30pm.
We will have brightly coloured umbrellas so can not be missed.
The Witches Tour
We will unmask and trial two witches EXACTLY as they would have been trialled back in the 1600s (well we won't kill them but you know what i mean)
Follow the trail of tears and heart-breaking cries to the different points in town where the trials were held. Witness the debauchery and torture as it would have been (i promise i won't hurt anyone for real though, unless you ask me to?? )
You will also find out about some little known points of history en route.
