The day starts at the Kelpies, Andy Scott's 30-metre steel horse heads and one of the most photographed landmarks in the country. From there you'll head to Culross, a 17th-century village so untouched by time it's doubled for entire scenes in Outlander. The road then climbs through Glendevon, past reservoirs and empty hills that most visitors never get to see. You'll finish in Dunkeld, a small cathedral town on the River Tay where the 14th-century ruins sit right at the water's edge.
The whole route flexes around what you actually want to see, so if a stop doesn't interest you, we'll swap it for one that does. Sit back, let your driver-guide handle the roads, and see the Highlands the way locals do.
