After checking in at the starting point, you will head towards Etna. You will walk along paths not ruined by mass tourism and you will appreciate the local flora and fauna. The first stop will be Milo, a small town in the Etna park, from which you can admire the Ionian coast with Taormina and the summit part of the volcano. After a short stop at a typical Etna refuge, equipped with helmet and torch you will visit the "Grotta dei Ladroni", a small lava flow tunnel opening into a prehistoric flow.
