Bled: Family Canyoning at Jerečica, Kids 120cm+, Free photos
It's a wilder, less-visited gorge than the canyons most operators use, and we keep groups to a maximum of 7 guests per guide so the experience never feels rushed or crowded.
Our guides are trained through our own Canyoning Academy, the only operator-run canyoning school in Slovenia. Every guide also holds white water rescue certification. This isn't a box-ticking exercise. It means your guide can handle any situation in moving water, with children in the group, in a narrow canyon. That standard is higher than the industry requires.
We accept children from 120 cm, the lowest minimum of any canyoning operator near Bled. Most competitors start at 150 cm. If you have younger kids, this is likely the only tour they can actually join.
Pickup from your Bled accommodation is included, full-size photos are delivered after the tour, and every jump is optional. Nothing about this tour requires you to be brave, just willing.
Canyoning Lake Bled Slovenia With Photos and Videos
Experience premium canyoning near Lake Bled in a small-group setting close to Triglav National Park. This half-day Slovenia canyoning tour combines alpine scenery, waterfalls, natural slides, and crystal-clear pools with a more active approach than standard tours.
Unlike typical canyoning in Slovenia where guests are lowered by the guide, here you learn to abseil independently under the supervision of certified professionals. You control your descent and fully engage in the adventure.
All jumps are optional, and alternative routes are always available. With small groups, licensed local guides, and photos included, this is a high-quality canyoning experience from Bled designed for travelers who want more than a mass-tourism activity.

Bovec Zipline - canyon Ucja - the longest zipline in Europe

10 ziplines in lengths 250 - 600 m rise up to 200 vertical meters above the river Učja.
Beginner Canyoning Tour in the Sušec Canyon - Bovec Slovenia
If you've never done canyoning before, this is the place to start. This natural water park is located about 10 min drive from Bovec. It's one of the most beautiful canyons in this part of Europe, featuring nice slides and jumps, that get higher as you move down the canyon. The last 12 m slide into a deep pool, will without a doubt give an adrenaline rush even to the most fearless participants and just in case you're afraid to do it, there's always a path around the waterfalls, so you can skip the scary parts. That's what makes this canyon so amazing and appropriate for everyone, even for children.
Via Ferrata Hvadnik Gorge, Gozd Martuljek, Julian Alps, From Bled
1. You climb inside a gorge, not up a wall
Every other via ferrata in the area (Mojstrana, Mala Mojstrovka, Mangart) takes you up an exposed rock face. Hvadnik puts you inside a canyon, enclosed walls, different light, completely different atmosphere. That's rare even across Slovenia.
2. You cross the stream three times
Water is a massive sensory differentiator. You hear waterfalls, you feel the spray, you may get wet. That's memorable in a way that a dry rock climb simply isn't.
3. It stays cool in summer
The gorge provides natural shade and the stream keeps temperatures down. When it's 30°C in Bled, Hvadnik is comfortable.
4. The Martuljek mountain backdrop
Špik and the Martuljek group are visually spectacular, jagged, dramatic peaks that look different from the Triglav massif most tourists see. Views here feel undiscovered.
The one-line pitch I'd use everywhere: "The only via ferrata in the Julian Alps that takes you through a gorge, not just up one."

We then continue down Old Town road, passing various points of interest on the way, before arriving at the Hercules Fountain in Old Town Square. From there we walk up Ljubljana's oldest road (16th century) and climb up to the Castle by foot (easy 12 minutes walk, no option for funicular from this side of the hill), with other points of interest and viewpoints on the way.
We finish off in the castle, where we visit the inner courtyard, various halls, dungeons, the chapel and the walls for the best views of town.
