We start with a drive from Ljubljana to Velika Planina, the largest highland pasture in Slovenia. Here we enjoy a guided hike across the plateau ( 2–3 hours), walking among traditional herdsmen’s huts while surrounded by panoramic views of the Alps and the Ljubljana Basin.
