We enter the park at around 05h00 in summer and a little bit later during winter and spend the entire morning driving in search of all things wild and wonderful.
A brunch can be purchased at one of the many picnic spots in the park. After lunch we continue our quest of finding more incredible wildlife only found in Africa and we do so until late afternoon before we head back to the exit gates.

Enjoy a relaxing gondola ride with a picnic on a unique African Gondola boat down the Durban Point Waterfront Canal with a duration of approximately 40 minutes. Enjoy a picnic in a hand-crafted basket which is made right here in local Durban by the Society for the Blind. Take some time out of your busy schedule to put your feet up and take in the beautiful surrounds as you drift down the canal on a gondola. Be sure to look out for the stunning bridges which make for lovely pics, as well as the rich fish life in the canal as you drift along. Day 1
