However our recommended itinerary is as follows: Our Cape of Good Hope hike begins on the western shoreline of the Nature Reserve and traverses to the eastern side, offering breathtaking views across False Bay. During spring, the spectacular wildflowers, abundant birdlife, and opportunities for whale watching are among the many highlights. The hike heads south towards Cape Point and the Cape of Good Hope, following a scenic coastal route with beautiful beaches and occasional sections of easy rock scrambling.
