Heading up to Kikelewa Caves on day two, the views start to open up, with the Amboseli Plains of Kenya stretching into the distance. The route continues up to the mountain’s second summit at Mawenzi, before crossing the Saddle, a barren plain that connects the two peaks of Mawenzi and Kibo. After reaching the summit, the descent is along the more heavily travelled Marangu route, offering you the chance to see Mount Kilimanjaro from both sides.

Zanzibar Private Sail to Pungume Sandbank with BBQ Lunch
Pungume Sandbank is on the south of the island, near Kizimkazi. Kizimkazi is very popular for fishing and spotting dolphins, which we hope to see on your tour!
The captain will take you to some of the hotspots for spotting dolphins, and if you’re lucky enough, you might just get a chance to swim with them!
They however don’t stay around much longer so hop back onto the boat and let the captain take you to Pungume Sandbank where you can relax, have lunch, swim and snorkel around the sandbank!
