Day Hike to Mount Kilimanjaro, Chagga Culture & local Experience
On this day trip, you will hike on the Marangu Route up to Mandara Hut. This trek is NOT to the summit. All short treks are offered on a private basis, and you can start on any day of the year. The short treks are geared for people who like to hike. The excitement of hiking on the highest peak on the African continent. All trekking inside of the Tanzania National Park requires the services of a certified Kilimanjaro guide, and the Marangu route is the only route where short treks are allowed.

This is a wonderful tour package that will give you an exciting opportunity to visit the most beautiful parks in the Northern Tanzania. This package will include visiting the endless plains of Serengeti National Park where you will be able to see all the big five and also Tarangire National park for huge number of elephants and the Ngorongoro Crater locally known as the garden of animals which offers a good chance to spot the big five.
In this option, you will stay in public campsites, located inside (For Serengeti / Ngorongoro) or outside the park ( For Lake Manyara / Tarangire). Accommodation will be in waterproof 2-person-tents (2.5m x 2.5m and 1.8m high) with built-in mosquito nets at the entrances and windows. The dome tents will be pitched overnight at the public campsite and packed in the morning. You will be sleeping on foam mattress and will have access to shared public bathrooms and toilets. Mountain Kilimanjaro Climbing 7 Days Machame Route
The Machame route is also known as the Whiskey route, given its reputation for being a tough climb, in contrast to the easier Marangu route, which is known as the Coca Cola route. Unlike the gradual incline and hut accommodations found on the Marangu Route, the climbers on Machame hike steeper trails, for longer distances, while sleeping in tents.
The Machame Route climb can be done in a minimum of six days (five nights) on the mountain. However, it is most often tackled over seven days (six nights), for a better altitude acclimatization schedule. The trek begins at Machame Gate, located in the southern base of mountain, within its lush, fertile rainforest.
The route heads toward the Shira Plateau, before circling along the southern circuit halfway around the mountain, exposing the climber to great views from all angles. The approach to the summit is made from the east, and the descent follows the Mweka trail.
