After departing Launceston, you will first enjoy a short stop in the historic village of Sheffield, the Town of Murals, before continuing on to Cradle Mountain.
Cradle Mountain National Park is one of the five national park areas which together form the Tasmanian Wilderness World heritage Area. We continue our journey into the mountains, passing through the forests, plains and highlands, to arrive at Cradle mountain and Dove Lake – the World Heritage Reserve after a 2.5 hour road journey. Highlights of this 3 day workshop include two sunsets and two sunrises at Dove Lake; wildlife, including Tasmanian Devils up close at the Devils@Cradle park. You will also shoot rustic mountain huts including Waldheim Chalet and the picture perfect boat shed on Dove Lake.
