We continue our journey through the scenic Coal River Valley wine region. Then, we will proceed to the historic township of Richmond, which is rich in convict history. Here, you will be able to admire Australia's oldest bridge and Catholic church. Richmond is home to numerous charming eateries, making it the perfect spot for our lunch break.
To conclude our day, we'll visit the Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary. Get up close and personal with the friendly kangaroos and other fascinating Tasmanian and Australian wildlife.

Departing Hobart, we travel via the seaside towns of Orford and Swansea as we make our way to Freycinet National Park. As we enter the Freycinet area, we have a brief stop at Freycinet Marine Farm famous for their fresh local oysters.
Our main walk today is to the Wineglass Bay Lookout; this is a moderate uphill walk of around 60 minutes. Once at the top you are rewarded with that world famous view of Wineglass Bay and the surrounding Freycinet National Park. For our keen and active travelers, you can continue on the longer walk down to Wineglass Bay beach. Or, return to the trailhead with our guide and explore the other highlights of the area, Honeymoon Bay and the Cape Tourville Lighthouse and great short walk.

Wineglass Bay Shared Cruise and Walking Tour
Freycinet Aqua Express is the fastest and easiest way to Wineglass Bay. Most explore this iconic spot via a challenging bushwalk. Freycinet Aqua Express offers a return coastal transfer with easy bushwalk to Wineglass Bay where you can relax taking in the white sands and crystal clear waters. Be sure to pack your beach gear and a picnic to unwind on the pristine beach before walking back to meet the boat to take you back to Coles Bay.
The half day option departs Coles Bay at 10.45am and arrives at Hazards Beach at 11.15am. Expected time to bushwalk to Wineglass Bay is 30 minutes. Freycinet Aqua Express will meet you at Hazards Beach at 2.15 for the transfer back to Coles Bay. We recommend starting to walk back to Hazards Beach by 1.30pm.
Full day option departs Coles Bay at 9.15am, and arrives at Hazards Beach at 9.45am. Expected time to bushwalk to Wineglass Bay is 30 minutes. Pick up is at Hazards Beach at 3.30pm. Please start walking back to Hazards Beach by 2.45pm.
