Next we hop on a traditional boat to the former Bangkok capital of Thonburi which is situated just across the Chao Phraya River. This neighbourhood is home to many klongs that acquired Bangkok the title ‘Venice of the East’. Here we glide through ancient canals in wooden boats to soak up scenic life along waterways.
