Great Canadian Food Tour- St. Lawrence Market + The Distillery
The same faces, year after year. No rotating roster of seasonal guides — our Insiders have hosted these streets since 2017, long enough that the shop owners greet them by name. Guides point at things; Insiders let you in.
The families are friends, not stops. Every kitchen is family-owned, and nearly every family came to Toronto from somewhere else. Four of our six original Kensington stops are still with us — because they became family.
Storytelling, not a checklist. Over an unhurried couple of hours we tell the story behind every plate: how the dish arrived, who carried it, and what it became once it found a home here.
Generous, never garnish. Small groups, tastings that add up to a full meal, and room to actually talk. Come hungry.
Because we know these kitchens personally, we can do what scripted tours can't — including vegetarian and pescatarian options on request. Just tell us when you book.
