We very much enjoyed our time with Mau.. in fact, we went back for seconds after we had been to the area earlier that same year. This time we toured the Chianti region, had a wonderful lunch and tour at Casa Emma and concluded at San Giminiano for walking/shopping/gelato, etc. Mau is an excellent guide with a great command of the history and interesting anecdotes to keep our 12yr old engaged. When we return to Tuscany, we will absolutely hire him again. Highly recommended!

This unique experience allows you to visit the most interesting places in the Val d'Orcia and Montepulciano, traveling along country roads to admire nature and art. The tour begins and ends at the Fattoria Madonna della Querce, next to the Sanctuary of the Madonna della Querce in Montepulciano. This farm raises Cinta Senese pigs, a type of black pig with a white cinta, of ancient Tuscan origins. We'll take a short walk through the olive trees and vineyard to reach the pigs, who roam free, separated by an electric fence. We can walk with them, touch them, and take photos. Lunch is included in the experience and includes a menu including:
