Fox Encounter for 2 people and park entry
Meet the Arks many residents, all of whom are rescues from the UK and European Pet Trade. Park entry is included with this experience so you can spend as long as you wish getting to know all the other residents. Cracking day out with Stewart and highly recommend his services, great fun, never seen Golden Eagles in the wild before, even if it was a brief glimpse of them a couple of hundred feet above our head, but that’s nature, can’t tell it when and where to be on request. Also got to see a mother and pup Sea Otter catching and eating a Conger eel amongst lots of other wildlife and then to top the day off got to see a couple of different Pine Martins so all in all a very rewarding day out! (Home made cakes and pasties for lunch was an added bonus)

Medieval Walking Tour of Chester
This exciting tour will focus on medieval Chester in the year of 1403. England is under the rule of King Henry IV but the rebellion of Henry ‘Hotspur’ Percy, along with his allies Owain Glyndwr and the Earl of Douglas, threatens his reign.
Our authentically dressed medieval soldiers will lead you around Chester highlighting significant events of the time and outlining the reasons leading to Hotspur rebelling against the King. You will also learn about what life was like for the soldiers living in the city, particularly the famous and skilled, Cheshire longbowmen the former bodyguards to the crown. Sights you will visit/see with our medieval archer include; Chester walls, Chester’s famous medieval rows and we will point out some of remaining buildings of medieval Chester.
please note though this tour is more about story of the rebellion and not sight seeing and buildings.
at the end of the tour you will learn about the impact this rebellion had on Chester and Britain for modern day.
Archery Session - One Hour
Located in the centre of our grounds, our archery range can accommodate 15 plus targets from standard target faces all the way through to dartboard faces. We also have a few 3-D targets available to aim at. Seeing our foam Meerkat take an arrow to the face and then get back up ready for another one is a delight to see!
About The Sessions
The sessions start with a safety brief from a GNAS or Archery GB qualified instructor and then we let the arrows fly. Sessions normally start from 10 metres back. However, as the session progresses so does the distance, reaching up to 30 metres.
We have plenty of options for different games to play. Alternatively, you can just focus on the Gold in preparation for the competition at the end of the session. We have standard re-curve bows for the adults and for kids smaller traditional bows. You get to shoot as many arrows as you can in the allotted time. With a large selection of bows, your group can all shoot at the same time.
