Guests on our Scenic Shoreline Tour will have the opportunity to explore beautiful coves that glisten with pyrite (fools gold), paddle along geological rock formations that lead us to reflect on the history and origin of Lake Tahoe, as well as elaborate lake front estates and the famous Cave Rock cliffs. This 1.5 hour guided tour in completely clear kayaks will take guests along the shoreline to experience depths of up to 75 feet below the surface. Chicago Local Brewery Expedition with Homemade Guacamole
We'll explore five (5) of our favorite, Handcrafted Local Micro Breweries in two special locations of the historic, Chicago landmark district, Fulton Market; which used to be the meatpacking district, now becoming the Chicago Brewery District.
Here you'll experience the fabulous, intricate world of the art of beer creation. We will all meet at the first one, introduce ourselves and try some delicious appetizers; where Carla will make a special Homemade Guacamole and Homemade Tortilla chips, and here, the first 3 handcrafted beers (3-5oz beers) are on us.
Then we'll walk to the other breweries where you'll have a chance to order other beers and serve your own. Here you can stay as long as you want after the tour. During our expedition, we can all share our opinion about the flavors, the creation, etc...
All the breweries are within walking distance.
Privately Guided Sunset Hike
Spend the evening with us as we chase a beautiful sunset! We'll travel to a west-facing peak close to town for a short hike before settling in to watch the sunset. Afterward, we'll hike back to the trailhead in the dark. Hikers choose between a 3-mile easy to moderate hike, or a 2-mile moderate to challenging hike, both are within a 30 minute drive from downtown Asheville. With a little luck, you'll catch the sunset of your dreams!
Hike will meet our office in downtown Asheville, and will last approximately 4-5 hours including transportation time. Snacks are included, but transportation is not (it can be added for an additional fee). Headlamps are provided to all hikers to use during the hike.
We hike rain or shine! Hikers should arrive prepared for all weather conditions and pack a rain jacket, an extra warm layer, and water. We may cancel or reschedule your hike in the event of severe or dangerous weather conditions.
