Mount Blue Sky Via Ferrata Climbing Experience in Idaho Springs
A Via Ferrata, which means “iron way” in Italian, is a method of mountaineering & rock climbing that’s been used in Europe for centuries. Via Ferrata courses use a combination of ladders, rungs, rails, cables and bridges to aid in moving across and up a cliff face. The Iron Way in Idaho Springs is an assisted rock climbing guided tour where guests clip into cables that run along the side of a cliff. They then move along a designated path of iron rungs and bridges to move across, and along the way they will be required to clip in and out of the cable to progress through the course. This is made possible through an advanced internal locking system in the carabiners. Each guest will have 2 carabiners connected to bungee-style lanyards on their harness. The internal locking system makes it impossible to clip out of both at the same time, insuring that climbers are connected to the cable of the course at all times.

All you'll need is clothing appropriate to spend the day in the Alaska wilderness. New Orleans’ food, like the city itself, is impossible to compare. On this six-hour tour, we explore the roots of Creole cuisine through neighborhood restaurants, food shops, and the people who keep these traditions alive. We begin in the city’s oldest food marketplace with coffee and a praline-stuffed beignet, then continue with New Orleans-style iced coffee, Gulf oysters or boudin, and a wedge of muffaletta. Through streets lined with Creole cottages, we head into the Marigny for alligator meatballs, passing landmarks tied to rock ’n’ roll, R&B, and Tremé’s African American history. Lunch is at Lil Dizzy’s, known for its gumbo, followed by seafood by the pound, such as crawfish in season, and a drink at a local neighborhood bar. Sedona to Petrified Forest/Painted Desert Adventure PRIVATE TOUR!

This is one of the most surreal views you will ever see. During this tour, we will discuss the many interesting theories of how the wood came to be petrified, as well as the amazing exposed strata of the painted desert known as the Chinle Formation. We will also go over the rich native history in the area, as we walk amongst the ancient lands. There are a couple options for hiking the Badlands in the park.
Before we visit the park, we take lunch in town and drive old Route 66 via Holbrook.
We then take 4 hrs to explore the PFNP and travel North hitting most of the sites. We see 2000 year old Petroglyphs, 216 million year old Crystal trees, and the painted desert/rainbow hills.

Join us on our newest urban hike in Downtown Kansas City, KS and the eclectic Strawberry Hill! We start our journey at Splitlog Coffee. This hike includes spectacular views across the river, a community garden, the Wyandot Nation Burial Ground, stories of courageous slaves who escaped oppression to come to be free in Kansas. A key highlight is learning the history of the many ethnic groups that contributed to this area and the up close and personal views of the murals in Downtown Kansas City, KS painted by local artists and youth.
