Your wildcraft, myco guide will teach you how to safely identify local wild mushrooms; delicacies like porcini, chanterelle and lobster mushrooms are just a few of the many edibles we may find. We'll showcase all fungi that we find on an easy stroll through the lush forest understory and discuss cooking, preservation techniques and harvesting stories.
Note that this isn't a harvesting trip, it's a class that teaches you how to find and safely identify edible wild mushrooms. We explore and examine wild mushrooms in situ as it's illegal to harvest in parks.
