Navigate the whole Grand Canal, then some minor typical canals of the city, up to the island of Murano.
In Murano, get off at the private dock of one of the oldest glass factories of the island, to see a dem about the world-famous glass production. A representative of the glass factory will explain about the techniques and the materials that the Glass Masters have been using for centuries.
Watch the Glass Master make a couple of items in front of your eyes and at the end, try to blow the glass (it is a simple try, you won't shape any object), a very fun experience. After the demo, have a look at the showroom and see the most beautiful pieces produced in Murano. Then, take a private water taxi back to Venice.
Morning Tour: Basilica, Doge’s Palace & Gondola Ride in Venice
Meet your professional guide and start your combination tour discovering the buildings in the square and then we enter inside the Doge's Palace "Palazzo Ducale", it was once the residence of the Doge, the elected ruler of the city.
The tour then continues into Saint Marks Basilica, which majestically symbolizes the lagoon and enshrines the city’s history and Saints relics.
At 1:00 pm you will end the first part of the tour and you will have approx 2 hours free time to stroll around Saint Mark's square, to have lunch (not included) or to visit the Correr museum on your own already included with the Doge's Palace ticket.
The second part of your combined tour is the classic gondola ride at 3:00 pm or 5:15 pm (check the availability).

Full-day Boat Tour of Venice Islands from St Mark’s Square
During this tour, you will discover the main islands of the lagoon, having plenty of time for your visit.
The tour starts from Piers 1, 2 and 3 in front of Palazzo Cornoldi in Riva degli Schiavoni, 4142.
Once onboard the boat, you will be heading to Murano, where the scheduled stop is 1 hour and 15 minutes. Here you will visit one of the island’s glassworks and attend a demonstration of a master glassmaker.
The second stop of this day tour to the Venetian islands will be Burano with its colorful houses (stop of approx 2 hours).
The last stop will be Torcello, where the Venetian civilization was born (1 hour). Today Torcello has just over 10 inhabitants, but its historical and artistic testimonies make it a very popular destination for visitors from all over the world.
Last surprise: the return trip. The boat's itinerary will allow you to enjoy a splendid view of the Venetian lagoon.
