Rustic Austria: Wine & Countryside Private Day Tour
Forget the steep mountains — this is Austria's gentle side. Just one hour from Vienna, the sunlit Pannonian plain feels more like Tuscany: rolling vineyards, storks clattering on the chimneys, and a slow glass of wine at noon.
This is our shortest tour (6–8 hours), designed to leave you refreshed, not exhausted — perfect if you plan a concert or a night out in Vienna afterwards.
Your journey: Eisenstadt, where we stroll the courtyards of the Esterházy Palace and the charming old town (palace interiors not included — see our "Haydn, Castles, Wine" tour for the full palace and fortress experience). Rust, the wine town of the storks, with nests on almost every chimney in summer. And the UNESCO-listed Lake Neusiedl, a vast steppe lake ringed with reeds. A tasting of Burgenland's famous red wines is included.
A dedicated duo — Vlad driving, Jenny guiding — handles every detail, so you simply sip, stroll and enjoy.
Vegan Sightseeing tour in an electro vintage car incl. schnitzel
Our vegan city tour is for all gourmets who want to get to know Vienna from a new perspective. Experience an entertaining sightseeing tour while enjoying the delicious vegan schnitzel from the world-famous Figlmüller restaurant.
The traditional company Figlmüller had been looking for a plant-based schnitzel alternative on its menu for a long time. After several months, together with Planted, they managed to create not only a crispy, but also a particularly tasty schnitzel. The extraordinary thing about it: the schnitzel convinces with a short list of ingredients, which also consists of purely natural raw materials.
The vegan schnitzel and the drinks are served directly in the electric vintage car, which has been specially converted into a private restaurant, and can be enjoyed during the journey.
An unforgettable experience for all fans of vegan cuisine!
Private Tour of the Picture Gallery of the Fine Arts Museum VIenna (Kunsthistorisches Museum) with an Art Historian
The Vienna Museum of Art History's collection is the best place to see and to understand what distinguishes a brilliant artist from the wonderful and the good from the mediocre. If you want not only to walk through the museum and enjoy the works of Rembrandt, Rubens, Vermeer, Raphael and Caravaggio, but also aspire to understand what distinguishes their works from those of their less famous contemporaries, this tour is for you.
In Peter Bruegel's largest world collection, we'll take a closer look at The Hunters in the Snow to understand why it was in the 20th century that this painting became the “cold distant peak of unattainable art“, and why it was a huge risk to choose such a controversial subject in the 16th century.
We will look at the requirements for Rubens' work and see the difference between works made for his powerful commissioners and those created for his own pleasure. The Capture of Samson by his disciple Antonis van Dyck will make it clear to us which qualities of his work have allowed him to occupy a separate place in the history of art, at least equal to his teachers.
Vermeer's work The Allegory of The Art and Caravaggio's Madonna with the Beads will show us the most virtuoso showcase of mimesis, the main principle of Western aesthetics. And Parmigianino's works in the contrary will show us the first attempts of art to escape from the path of perfect vitality.
If you wish to see outstanding art and aspire to understand what makes it great, this art tour is perfect for you.

Museum Hopping in Vienna
If it ain't baroque, don't fix it!
Art puns aside, if you've come to Vienna and have been itching to go to a museum, but don't know where to start or where to go, you've come to the right place! At Austria Tours & Travel we pride ourselves on being history buffs and museum matchmakers- we can find a museum for every type of traveler!
Our private museum tour includes 2-3 museums of your choice in Vienna (a list/recommendations will be provided to you upon booking), an air-conditioned van (in summer) to transport you to and from each museum in comfort, and a private guide who will take care of all logistics and provide you with a guided tour at each museum.
Guided Private Tour: Hallstatt After the Crowds & Treetop Path
Experience Hallstatt as a living village, not a crowded postcard.
While most tours squeeze into the village at the midday peak, we plan the day in reverse: you arrive in the afternoon, just as the big buses begin to leave, and stay until about 5:30 pm — when the streets grow calmer and the light softens over the lake.
The day builds gently: first Gmunden, an aristocratic lakeside town on the Traunsee (in summer, bring a swimsuit — there is time for a dip), then a cable car ride and a panoramic Treetop Walk above the forest canopy. All tickets are included.
You are cared for by a dedicated duo — Vlad driving, Jenny guiding and photographing — so you stay fully present. We are honest about the road: about 3 scenic hours each way, with commentary and stops. The reward: Hallstatt at its quietest hours — and you are back in Vienna at a reasonable evening hour, not after midnight.
