We start the tour from our office at 1052 Budapest, Apáczai Csere János u. 12 - 14. (Hotel Intercontinental)
We drive to the Castle District where we show you the main attractions of the area (Matthias Church, Fishermen’s Bastion - from where you can enjoy the beautiful panorama) and we have a short walk.
We cross the river to the Pest side on Elizabeth bridge to go along river Danube, then Andrássy Avenue (UNESCO World Heritage Site), featuring buildings such as the Opera House and the House of Terror.
Then we turn to Heroes’ Square (statues of the most famous Hungarian kings and freedom fighters). In the City Park we pass thermal spa Széchenyi and the Budapest Zoo. Returning to the center we show you St Stephen’s Basilica.
The tour ends at Hotel Intercontinental, from there you can have a 5 minutes riverside walk to Dock no.6 Vigadó square (MAHART) boat station.

Hiking Tour to the Peak of Hungary

We start from Budapest, take a long bus ride till Mátraháza. From Mátraháza we take a longer uphill walk through beautiful beech forests to reach Kékes, the highest peak. At the top there is a super high telecommunication tower with a panorama terrace with a full view around to make this experience even more outstanding. We start descending from the peak, and on our way we will visit a little andesite cave and the ruins of a small medieval castle. After passing through Mátrafüred, we go up to the iconic Kozmáry-lookout, and enjoy a beautiful landscape back to the Mátra mountains and to the plains in the south. At the end we take a bus from Mátrafüred back to Budapest
