Together we travel for one day this volcanic island with its bizarre rock massifs : From Praia we go to the 800-year-old and 30-meter-thick giant tree Poilão. From there, we head down the imposing mountain range of the Serra da Malagueta Natural Park to Tarrafal. In this small tourist town we walk over the most beautiful beach in Cape Verde by far. Alternatively, you can also visit the concentration camp from the colonial period.

Boa Vista Turtle Watching Experience
From July until October, we find this spectacle down the beach in the evening where big females come to lay their eggs inside the special nests all made by themselves.
This beauty is protected by the government with massive support of the locals who engages the conservancy project every year.
Nowadays, there are many associations and ONGs with international support who help the conservancy and protection program.
There are a limit of tours and people per night per beach to not disturb the turtle processes, (each operator has a limit number of guests per visit).

Santa Maria Visit to the salt mine and blu eye and and shark bay
We will pick you up from your hotel by minibus at 9:00 AM. We will begin the tour traveling south on Sal Island, where we will see the Santa Maria pier and the salt flats. We will continue our tour through the Terra Boa desert, whose landscapes will surprise us with a curious mirage.
Our next stop will be in the island's administrative capital, Espargos, where you will have an hour of free time to enjoy lunch on your own. With our energies recharged, we will climb to a famous viewpoint to admire the views of the island. The tour continues towards the shores of Parda Bay, famous for being the natural habitat of lemon sharks.
