You'll get a front-row view of the coastal landscapes – think endless golden beaches and chunky rock formations jutting out of the sea. Between mid‑March and mid‑May, the warm waters become an important breeding and calving area for humpback whales, so as we sail along. You'll get a good look at Sal Rei, too, which means Salt King in Portuguese, a nod to its history of salt production.
