Tortuguero National Park and Canals Day Trip from San Jose
This enchanted and secluded park is the save heaven of many different species of while life not only native of Costa Rica, but to the Americas. Travelling through the waters of the hidden lagoons and canals as the flowering vine covered trees blend in with their own water reflection we will have the unique experience of observing as close as possible several species of flora and fauna. It is easy to observe several species of crocodiles, toucan, monkeys, slots, macaws, iguanas and some others. We start visiting the hanging bridges of Mistico park. The guide is with you to help you learn about the ecosystem. Hiking over the bridges and trails you enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding forest, Arenal volcano and lake.
From here we take a short drive to the park that's right at the foot of the volcano. We hike a trail through the big lava rocks from the '68 eruption
Here we reach a viewpoint with amazing views of the Arenal volcano, the surrounding lava fields and the Northern valley.
We then stop at a restaurant where they serve a wide variety of local-style dishes.
Now it's time to get wet. A 20minuts hike through a jungle staircase takes you into a deep canyon to the immense la Fortuna waterfall. You can swim in the refreshing pool of the waterfall and hang around on the big rocks to relax for a while.

Monteverde Cloud Forest Guided Night Walk
Located in the 7 wonders of Costa Rica in the cloud forest, the Night Walk has become a very attractive request by people who travel to this country to observe the great biodiversity that provides.
Going into a jungle at night will give you a chance to see the animals in a new environment. Many jungle creatures are only active at night and this is the only way to experience them. You will see mammals that never make appearances during day treks. Your guide will point out tarantulas and sleeping birds. The symphony of insects and frogs will be your soundtrack. The tour lasts approximately two hours.
While wandering through the trees be sure to look out for the 200 species of bird that call this forest home. You may also come across armadillo, coati, agouti, kinkajou, ocelot, two-toed sloth, and three different species of monkey.
