We start our shooting at the Nikolaos Church in Georgioupolis at sunrise. The orange light of the morning sun fills this place with magic and we will capture the first snapshots of the day.
Then we go to the Kalyvaki beach, which is still deserted at this point in time, and take pictures of you on and in the crystal-clear, turquoise water.

The trip continues with us stopping at one of the most picturesque bays of the area, where we will take a refreshing swim in the dazzling turquoise sea and the captain will offer us a filling snack. Visit the historical 100-year-old British shipwreck of Minnewaska, which lies about 20 meters deep and was sunk in 1916 by a mine and built by the same company as the Titanic (White Star Line)!
The name Minnewaska comes from the American Indian word meaning clear water. The ship was built in Belfast in November 1908 and It was 183 meters long constructed as a passenger steamer. During the first world war the ship was used by the British military to transport troops. On the 29th November 1916 the ship was leaving Souda with the troops onboard when she struck a mine laid by a German submarine UC23. Hold below the water line she started to sink Captain Gates steered a course to the nearest land to try to beach the ship in the area of Marathi.

Beach, monastery, wine or hike private tour (price for 6 persons)
This is a private tour with a 7-seater van for a maximum 6 guests.
We will tour around Akrotiri peninsula. First visit the historic monasteries of Agia Triada and Gouverneto. We will marvel the magnificent architecture and structure of the monasteries and explore their rich history. Gouverneto monastery is closed Wednesdays and Fridays.
At Agia Triada you can do optional wine tasting for 25 euro per person for an hour, which is paid separately by travellers. Closed on weekends.
After the monasteries we will relax for two hours by the crystal clear waters of Aegean sea in the beautiful bay of Stavros.
On the way back we will stop at Venizelos graves to enjoy a breath taking panoramic view of Chania.
There are a few options to customize this tour. We could visit of Chania old town for 2 hours (extra charge), Gouverneto hike for 1-2 hours to Arkoudiotisa cave and later to Katholiko, or do a wine tasting at Agia Triada monastery for an hour. Please message me for more details.
