This is a 2-hour calligraphy workshop in Namba, downtown Osaka.
Even if you are a beginner, no worries as a Japanese calligraphy instructor will give you detailed instructions step by step. Writing Japanese using a brush and ink will be an unforgettable experience. In this workshop, you will know what the Japanese calligraphy really is besides learning calligraphy with writing your own name in kanji or katakana. At the end of the workshop, you will create a one-of-a-kind handwritten souvenir by writing your name on colored paper or on a name tag. Write your own name in Japanese and take it home with you, along with your memories of Japan.
Dotonbori, Nihonbashi, and Kuromon Market are close by, so you can go to those areas before or after the workshop, so you can make the most of your day!

Hike Japan Heritage Hakone Hachiri with certified mountain guide
You will hike around 8km in this trip and visit Lake Ashi, the Hachiri heritage path, Yamanaka Castle Ruins, Genbe River. The transportation between the sites is either on foot or by local bus. The guide will give you background of this historical part of Japan.
You will traverse the Hakone Mountain like Edo period travellers and see Mt Fuji from different angles while you walk if weather permits.
Hakone Hachiri is a Japan Heritage where you can experience how people traveled during Edo period (17th century). It is a part of the Old Tokaido Highway including the steep slope of Hakone mountains.
Our Hakone Hachiri tour starts from Hakone Yumoto. We hike and take the bus to visit Amasake Tea House and walk on the cobble stone path to Lake Ashi where we will see the lake, Mt Fuji and the Torii gate of Hakone Shrine.
After lunch near the Hakone Checkpoint, we take a bus to skip the temporally closed part and then resume the walk towards Mishima. Mishima Station is our ending point.

What We’ll Shoot
We will learn how to create compelling images of architectural elements and the people that populate the city’s concrete environs. You’ll be coached on using composition concepts like leading lines, negative space, and juxtaposition. We’ll practice using these techniques to convey a variety of narratives.
Where We’ll Explore
Our journey will begin in Shiodome—a district walled in with glass and steel skyscrapers. From here we will head to Ginza, famed for its broad avenues lined with intricate examples of avant-garde architecture. Afterward, we will end up in Yurakucho where we will explore the innards of the monolithic Tokyo International Forum.
