✳︎You makes 6-7 Matcha incense. It warms up to release the aroma of tea. You don't have to worry about the health hazards of smoke.
✳︎The matcha used is the stuff that accumulates in the crevices of the machine and has to be discarded. It is then ordered in fresh.
✳︎The appearance of the incense is therefore in the shape of edible sweets. The beautiful shape of the incense remains after the fragrance has been worn off, so it can be used repeatedly as an aroma stone.
✳︎The clay-like raw material of the incense is soft and has a soothing effect on you.
✳︎The venue is Eshin-in, in the heart of the tourist centre of Uji, Kyoto.Its garden is full of seasonal flowers carefully tended by the abbot.It also overlooks Byodoin Temple on the opposite bank of the Uji River, with a great view.

Fukusa Shibori Class
At the Kyoto Shibori Museum, this traditional Japanese craft class shows you how to dye a 40cm x 40cm silk Fukusa (wrapping cloth) using the Kasamaki shibori method and Nuishime shobori method. You'll end up with a beautiful silk Fukusa to serve as a souvenir of your trip to Kyoto. Classes are usually individual and take 90 minutes to 120 minutes per class.
Start by choosing your favorite color and design, learning how to tie your fabric in a particular way and how to knot the thread.
Dye the fabric and undo the thread to see the final result!
While your fabric is drying (about 30 minutes), you'll learn more about shibori. Browse art pieces, tools, and samples displayed in the museum.
The museum shop also sells a variety of shibori items, souvenirs, fabrics, and more.
