It's a fairly steep 4.5 mile hike roundtrip and can be slippery going back down, so hiking shoes with good traction are required.
For a complete contrast, and a unique local experience, the 2nd phase involves a short hike down to hidden natural waterfall slide pools to swim, jump, climb into, and cool off in. Kids love this!
