We start from Cusco or Urubamba, after being picked up from your hotel, you’ll head to the Ollantaytambo train station to take the train to Aguas Calientes. In Aguas Calientes, you'll be picked up by one of our local guides to take the bus to the entrance and start your Machu Picchu tour. Afterwards, you'll have time to eat lunch, we accompany you to the train station and you return to Ollantaytambo. There, our driver awaits you to take you back to your hotel in Cusco.

After a brief stop to have breakfast, you leave for the summit of Mateo, passing through the moraine. This summit is 5150 meters high, from where you can have great panoramic view of the snowy peaks of the Cordillera Blanca, such as the Huascarán Sur, Chopicalqui, Contrahierbas, Ulta, among other snowfalls.
