Summit Etna North 3380mt: 4x4 and trekking
Departures begin from Piano Provenzana on Etna’s wild, less-touristic north slope, where group sizes are smaller for a more intimate experience. Off-road vehicles follow a panoramic track across ancient craters and recent lava flows up to 2,825 m. From there, a 500 m uphill hike winds through volcanic bombs and scoria to the Central Crater at 3,380 m. At the summit, admire the immense, unique volcanic landscape and the sweeping views from the “roof of Sicily” (visibility varies with weather and volcanic activity). The descent retraces the route, ending with an easy walk down soft scoria channels back to 2,825 m, where 4×4 vehicles return you to Piano Provenzana.

Etna at sunset - 4x4 tour with Sicilian sweet aperitif
The excursion to Etna at sunset is one of the most suggestive summer tours, as it allows you to visit, on board our 4×4, some of the most interesting places of Etna until sunset. You will admire the Valle del Bove, an immense amphitheater that tells the geological history of the volcano. You will walk on the edge of some side craters where you can admire the panorama from 2000 meters and the extinct lava flows of various eras. Our Guide will pick you up where agreed. the first stop will lead you to a visit to a lava flow cave with helmets and torches, 10 minutes stop in a bar. We will continue with a light trek lasting about 2 hours at an altitude of 2000 meters and in the Silvestri Craters area on the south side of the volcano, you will walk on a path characterized by ancient flows, ancient craters and breathtaking landscapes.
The tour will end with a tasting of typical Sicilian products and a light lunch, where you can taste the flavors and food and wine tradition of our land.

Market Tour, Traditional Cooking and Limoncello class
Our meeting point is at 10.30 am at Porta Carini, entrance gate to Capo Market, where we pick up all the fresh ingredients we need for our cooking class. Afterwords we will be in our location situated in a charming historical and noble XVII cent. Palazzo, located in front of the Cathedral called Palazzo Asmundo. Here we will cook for all the morning. What you will prepare is a full course sicilian menu based on fish, meat or vegetarian on request, totally three dishes. We will start from an appetizer of local olives cheeses and Monreale bread with extravergine olive oil with a glass of wine. However the menu is seasonal, so it changes. During the class you will prepare the authentic sicilian Limoncello with the lemons that the chef grows in her land nearby the Nebrodi park.
At the end of our cooking day you will receive the certificate signed by the Chef and a small botthe of our home-made limoncello to carry back home!
