My group walking tour is a mix of history, art, monuments, architecture and food tasting. In the first part of the Walking Tour we will visit the old town with its monuments and churches, and in the second part we will explore the big food open air market where we will taste the famous street food of Palermo (as arancini, fresh juice, focaccia, cannoli, panelle, etc). We offer an excursion service from our beloved Sicily. In particular, in these tours we propose a visit to our hometown, Messina, going to visit the Sanctuary of Christ the King, one of the most beautiful panoramic points of the city from where you can see the Strait of Messina. Subsequently it will also be possible to visit the Cathedral of Messina with the largest astronomical clock in the world while also tasting Sicilian sweets and specialties. Another stage of the tour includes the arrival in Taormina, the most famous city in Sicily, with a walk along Corso Umberto, characterized by Gothic and Baroque influences. You will also go to see the "balcony", a panoramic place of the city of Taormina from where you can see the wonderful Isola Bella. The last stop of the tour, however, includes a visit to the village of Castelmola, one of the most evocative villages in Sicily, also influenced by Arab and Norman traditions and styles.

MARSALA UNDERGROUND let's discover the hidden part of the city
You will get to know the hidden part of the city of Marsala; the one created by the quarrymen during the extraction phase.
It will be a city with a particular architecture, made up of limestone pinnacles that rise from the depths of the extraction and a succession of majestic walls and overhangs that make the landscape very similar to the Grand Canyon.
It will be a slow and relaxing walk that will take us from the countryside level to 30 meters of depth. The first stretch will allow us to get to know the various spontaneous aromatic plants that flood the route with colors and smells; we will observe the characteristics of the limestone rock that makes up and delimits the open-air quarries and we will talk about this current extraction system.
After a stop for refreshments, we will proceed into the quarries in tunnels which, due to their size, can be defined as extensive cathedrals of calcarenite with their 25 meter pillars and massive walls that alternate with the voids dug by the quarrymen.

Departures begin from Piano Provenzana on Etna’s wild, less-touristic north slope, where group sizes are smaller for a more intimate experience. Off-road vehicles follow a panoramic track across ancient craters and recent lava flows up to 2,825 m. From there, a 500 m uphill hike winds through volcanic bombs and scoria to the Central Crater at 3,380 m. At the summit, admire the immense, unique volcanic landscape and the sweeping views from the “roof of Sicily” (visibility varies with weather and volcanic activity). The descent retraces the route, ending with an easy walk down soft scoria channels back to 2,825 m, where 4×4 vehicles return you to Piano Provenzana.
