Our tour begins at the Hector Peterson Memorial, where you will learn about the significance of the 1976 Soweto Uprising, a significant turning point in the Apartheid system. We will then walk down Moema Street, retracing the steps of the historic march. Unfortunately due to the lodges limited capacity entry is granted only to guests that will be eating with them, this also means that the lodge is unfortunately unable to accommodate guests who wish solely to have a drink, use the WIFI, or restrooms.
Alternatively we offer our guests the option of either having lunch at a lovely local Basotho restaurant, or feel free to bring along your own snacks and drinks for in the vehicle while on the tour.

On this tour, you will learn finer details of the history of world statesman Nelson Mandela, His imprisonment and life at Robben Island for 18 years of his 27 years. We will enter the Addo Park at 08h30. The first few hours are usually good to see antelope, zebra, and lion. At around 11h00 we will have a delicious picnic brunch. Usually we have good sightings of elephant herds and buffalo after 11h00 nearer the waterholes. We will exit the Addo Park around 13h30 and return back to your hotel / guest house.
