We begin the day with a stop at the beautiful Blaawberg Beach front for a Instagram worthy photo of Table Mountain. We always aim to share our history and culture with guests. This tour does exactly that, it explores San culture and allows you to go back into time to gain a greater understanding of our first people. A stop at the West Coast National Park is a must when visiting the area. During Spring the area is coloured by the beautiful wild flowers that are unique to this region (Aug to Sep). Soweto Cultural Walking Tour with Lunch
Our tour begins at the Hector Peterson Memorial, where you will learn about the significance of the 1976 Soweto Uprising, a significant turning point in the Apartheid system. We will then walk down Moema Street, retracing the steps of the historic march. As we continue down Vilakazi Street, we will visit Nelson Mandela's house, where you will have 20 minutes to explore inside where he lived until he's 27 years imprisonment (entrance fee not included).
