Hidden Seoul: Shamanism, Myths & Sacred Mountains
FEATURED ON NATIONAL TELEVISION NEWS
▶️ https://youtu.be/I5g_ga98Gyg?si=g5IRL2gKNDqix_F3
--------------------------------
Unlike typical Seoul tours focused on palaces, food, or modern attractions, this experience explores one of the most hidden and least understood aspects of Korean culture: Korean shamanism.
On the sacred slopes of Inwangsan Mountain, you'll visit active shrines, hear ancient myths and legends, and discover how shamanic traditions continue to coexist with modern life in Seoul. This is not a museum exhibition or a staged cultural performance, but a journey into living spiritual practices that remain part of Korean society today.
Along the way, you'll learn about mountain worship, guardian spirits, folk beliefs, and the role of shamans in Korean culture. For those interested in a deeper experience, there may also be an opportunity to meet a practicing Korean shaman and gain firsthand insight into one of Korea's oldest living traditions.

Buam-dong Walk: Parasite Filming Site, Art & History in Seoul
One of the hillside alleys in Buam-dong shows up as a filming location in Parasite, though most visitors walk right past it without knowing. This 2.5-hour walk through the neighborhood covers a lot more than that one scene.
You'll start at the Choi Gyu-sik Memorial Statue, tied to the 1968 Blue House Raid and a piece of Cold War history most guests have never heard of. From there it's on to Cheongun Literature Library, Seoul's first Hanok library, before climbing the Hill of Poet Yoon Dong-ju for views across Bugaksan, Inwangsan, and Bukhansan. The route passes a stretch of the Seoul City Wall and Changuimun Gate, then wraps up at Mugyewon, a Hanok cultural space where you can sit for a minute before heading back down.
Good fit for anyone who wants art, literature, and real history mixed with mountain scenery, minus the crowds you'd hit in Bukchon or Insadong.
