Exploring Stockholm's magical Old Town via an easy-going, small group English language tour with an Official experienced Stockholm City Guide. Winding our way through the cobble stone streets, narrow alleyways & medieval architecture while sharing stories of the city's origins & colorful, sometimes bloody, history mixing story-telling with fun facts & practical tips. Tour begins at the Gateway to the Old Town by the houses of Parliament, then into the heart of the Old Town. Stops include the main square, one of the oldest streets, a Rune stone, the historic German church, onto a busy tourist street & a stop by the narrowest street. Then the marketplace square, a famous restaurant, a unique shopping street, St. George & the Dragon statue, an historic painting, then the smallest statue, the Iron Boy. What to take for kayaking: appropriate outdoor clothing for the weather, a rain jacket, sandals, change of clothes if you get wet, sun protection, sunglasses or eyeglasses secured with straps, swimwear and towel if you wish to take a bath.

The duration can vary: 2 hours for smaller groups (around 2 participants) or up to 3 hours for larger groups (up to 15 participants). If you'd like us to visit the Vasa Museum, there will be an additional cost for the museum tickets. If you want to do an 8-hour tour, we’ll need to charge for the extra hours.

Vasa Museum Guided Tour, Including Ticket & Guide
We will meet by the entrance of the museum, to skip the waiting line and enter the museum all together.
We will start by going over the Swedish Empire and the war in which Gustav Adolf had the ship commissioned, what was the purpose of the ship? Who was the enemy during these years? Something happened during the construction and the ship sank, what happened? and whose fault was it?
Many years later it was found and salvaged, but this was no easy task. We will go over the engineering project together and show you the maps used in the 19th century to find the location of the ship, and how it was found in the 1950s. Once it was salvaged, a time capsule of the 17th century was opened and many secrets were revealed of how life was back then.
This tour is the perfect choice for the ones who want to get a deep knowledge about everything that happened, in and out of the ship. Come full of questions, because we want to answer all of them!

The pace for these tours is a little slower than our normal 4-hour Archipelago Kayak Tour. We will try to spot native wildlife including beavers, seals, roe deers and coastal birds.
Wear outdoor clothes according to the weather: quick-dry hiking pants/shorts, thermal top, a rain jacket and sandals (shoes you don’t mind getting wet). If you wear prescription glasses we also recommend using a strap.
