Stone Town History and Culture Private Walking Tour
This is a 3-hours guided tour. On this tour, your tour guide will take you and visit all the interesting places, including historical landmarks like Freddie Mercury House, the former slave market, Darajan Market where commercial auctions like fish auctions are done, visiting House of Wonder, Old Fort, Palace museum and so on.
Then your tour guide will walk with you to the narrow streets of Stone Town and discover various kinds of street foods, see Zanzibar doors made by local people, and do shopping from souvenir shops.
Tarangire National Park
We’ll depart from Moshi early in the morning and drives traight to the Tarangire National Park. The park’s landscape is awe-inspiring; dotted with colossal termite mounds (some now the homes of Mr and Mrs Mongoose and all the little mongoose) and ancient baobab trees, as well as golden savannah. The park has a year-round water supply and that’s why it’s so rich in wildlife. Bird lovers won’t be disappointed. The park hosts over 550 species of bird, including the world’s largest, the Maasai ostrich. (Yes, Tarangire is a small park but it attracts the biggest animals!).
You’ll have a great view from the open roof of your sturdy 4x4, so get your camera ready for giraffe, warthog, impala, cheetah, mongoose, buffalo, and baboons. Look up at tree-level to spot one of the famous climbing leopards of Tarangire, and look closer – is that a python?

This is a very special tour that allows you to concentrate most of your time in the Serengeti, to follow the unique spectacle that is the Great Migration. You will be able to spend at least 4 nights in the park, usually two in the Central Area (with the largest concentration of big cats) and the other two where the Migration is according to the time of the year (South, North or West).
We have designed this particular tour so that you finish the safari in the most remote location in the Serengeti, and then fly from there to your next destination (Arusha or Zanzibar for example). However, shall you wish not to fly, we will redesign your tour so you do it by land and save the cost of the flight.

Mikumi National Park and the Uluguru Mountains are the best places for a short break to discover Tanzanian traditions and nature.
